If you still love your existing furniture because of the quality, size and style, but would love your interiors updating, recovering your furniture may be the answer.
On your request we can arrange for the technical advisor to visit you in your home. Here you will have the opportunity to discuss any concerns that you may have in regards to your furniture. The technician will go through the process with you so that you understand the scope of the work involved along with an estimated time of completion of the work in question.
You can browse a beautiful choice of upholstery fabrics from our showroom or if you prefer, from the comfort of your own home. The designer will be more than happy to guide you through the suitability of the fabrics for you furniture.
Your furniture will be measured and calculations will be noted. If then you decide to have your furniture upholstered, we will contact you with your estimate in relation to the fabric choice. Please take note that a 50% deposit will be payable when ordering fabric and other materials. Any additional work to springs, webbing and frame work etc. will not be taken into account when pricing, this is because it is not possible for the technician to see any underlying problems until the furniture is stripped back and all other materials removed. If repairs are needed we will inform you on our findings so that additional costs are discussed first.
Collection of furniture
We will arrange to collect your furniture at a time that is suitable for both parties. We ask that confirmation of collection must be given no less than forty eight hours prior to collection. We will contact you to confirm an arrival time.
Entrance and exits must be clear for the transportation of your furniture items and for the safe guard of our collection team. If you think there may be problems in removing your furniture in regards to doorways etc. it is the customer’s responsibility to have the doors removed. It is our company policy that over shoes are worn when entering the premises.
Bringing your furniture to us
You can arrange to deliver your furniture/removable cushions to us if you have your own means of transport. Small items can also be brought directly to us.
When we receive your furniture, all materials are removed. We check the condition of the springs, webbing, fillings and framework. Broken dowels and or corner support blocks will be replaced and any splits will be re-glued and clamped overnight until dry. All replacement materials meet all current furnishing fire safety regulations. Please note if any fabric is to be saved from existing furniture you must tell us in advance.
Our master craftsman then prepares to make new pattern templates by pressing the existing fabric pieces. Each piece is then labelled ready to apply onto your chosen fabric. It is then cut out ready for construction.
We welcome any interest from our customers who would like to come along and see the work in progress on their furniture. Just contact us to let us know you would like to visit and we can arrange this for you at a time when it is convenient.
All furniture items once complete are wrapped and sealed for protection so you can rest assured it will remain in perfect condition during the delivery process.
The final balance is to be paid before delivery of goods can take place which is also stated on our terms and conditions of sale agreement.
We ask that confirmation of delivery date is made at least forty eight hours prior to delivery.
